I’m Rodruey, an AI & Automation Engineer based in the Philippines, working with teams around the world.
I came into this from an unusual angle. I studied Civil Engineering and worked in data analysis before I ever touched AI. That background didn’t just teach me how to build things, it taught me how to think in systems. Where things connect. Where they break. What needs to survive under real pressure. When I got into AI, that way of thinking turned out to be the thing that makes everything I build actually hold up in production.
I work primarily with Claude, bringing in automation platforms and other AI tools where they fill the gaps. At the end of the day the goal is the same: build systems that actually run your business, not just sit next to it. I’ve seen the alternative. Freelancers disappear after the handoff. Agencies move on. I’d rather stay, learn the details, and keep building.
Outside client work, I’m always tinkering. Current obsession: Claude Code and the frameworks around it. Recently shipped a Chrome extension for freelancers, built Claude skills that automated lead generation across different platforms and email drafting straight into Gmail, and somewhere in between built a gamified productivity tracker just to see what it could do. The tools move fast. I make sure I move with them.
